Lakes
Entrance accommodation gives you access to a climate that is temperate so
you can enjoy milder winters and summers - ideal for doing all the things

Located on Highway One and accessible to the Ninety Mile Beach, where the
Gippsland Lakes meet the Southern Ocean, it's a holiday hub on water. Close
by is the delightful "emerald" Lake Tyers bordered by ocean and
state forest with its river meandering inland to Nowa Nowa. Nearby is the
smaller gem like Lake Bunga. Experience life on the water by boat, water ski,
windsurf, canoe or paddleboat. Walk over the footbridge to enjoy either ocean
beach or lakeside swimming. Catch your own fish or savour the catches from
fresh seafood shops. Enjoy harbourside dining, local seafood and wines at
the many great restaurants. Away from the water there's lots to do. Visit
a fun and fauna park; cinema, disco, fun factory, minigolf, playgrounds, gaming
and bingo. For sports lovers there's a championship 18 hole golf course and
a scenic 9 hole course, year round lawn bowls, aquatic center, squash and
tennis. Explore national and state parks by four wheel drive or stagecoach.
Horseride through nature trails, take a cruise or walk or cycle one of the
many diverse paths. Take home a creation of glass, wood, shells, fine art
and textiles from one.
